Club Meetings are the 3rd Tuesday of the Month at Blackmarket Brewing Co. at 7 PM.  Social hour at 6 PM.

How to Post PDF's to the Site

I am trying to figure out how to post a PDF to the site. I would like to get some of the recipes I have posted and I have them in the PDF format. This will make it much easier to read etc. Anyone have and idea how I can do this?

Ok so that is how I got the doc on scribe. Now how do I get it to show here? I have tried to use the image link, the url, etc. What I want is when some one looks at the post they see the PDF in the post, not have to dl it etc. Not sure it will work that way. Urgh! hehe

Copy the embed code, then before you paste it into the forum, click the "Switch to plain text editor" below the entry box.  That should make it look something like this:

you just didn't disable the rich text editing. Other than that, it was fine.

So I thought I did that by hitting the clipboard that states "paste in as plain txt" is that not the right method?

That would be right, except that the comment box expects formatted input. You don't notice by looking at it, but there's actually whatever you paste into it without switching to the plain text editor will be filtered for security... so all < and > will be converted to &lt; and &gt; respectively.  If you turn off the rich text editor, it takes a  < as a <.

Ok so I did it right but it didn't work? or did I miss something, as I copied the source and then hit the paste as plain text, pasted the source into it and hit save. No workie, but when you look it was just fine? O man I am lost. lol
