Jim's 50th party had a half barrel of Sierra Nevada, plus lots of home brew. He had at least half of the Sierra left. We tried to drink it the next night, but drank homebrew instead. We are looking to transfer the 7 or so gallons to a couple of empty cornies. Is there an easy way to do this? Or better yet, what's the best way to do this? How much pressure should you add from C02?

Run the tube from the Sanke Keg to the beer Outlet of the Corny keg. Fill up the Corny keg with CO2 at the same pressure that the Sanke is filled with. Open the beer line and then slowly drain the CO2 in the corny keg. This will fill the corney keg with minimal foaming.

I would recommend attaching the Beer out from the sankey to the Beer outlet of the corny. The will fill the corny from the bottom up. No water fall effect.

Keep the flow slow so the pressure stays equal will also help keep the foam down.
