Kolsch
So I wanted to be the first to post in the Style category.
I brewed a Kolsch about 3 weeks ago, when it was about 100degs out, and just checked everything out with it. I have now mastered my system! I got about 80% eff, my OG was 1.055, my FG was 1.002!
Now I fermented this beer in my cooler which I set to the lowest point, I think it kept the beer around the 55deg region. I kept having to turn off my cooler once a day to try and keep the temp from getting to cold. But it looks like everything turned out fantastic. I just tasted some warm and un carbonated and it was wonderful. This one is going to be nice. I will be bringing a few bottles to the next meeting.
