Club Meetings are the 3rd Tuesday of the Month at Blackmarket Brewing Co. at 7 PM.  Social hour at 6 PM.

Tig welding Aluminum??

Anyone got a Tig welder and know how to weld Aluminum? I may be looking to build a tank for the bed of my truck for a veggy oil system soon.

I have a tig welder. I still working on the welding part of it. I did pretty good this past weekend welding a piping together for a grind rail for Adrian. Welding Aluminum is hard. I have done it and most of it looked good.

Will your Tig do AC and DC? DC for aluminum takes real skill, AC is a bit easier and produces much cleaner looking welds.

AC/DC Welder with High Frequency and Water Cooled torch. It is a Miller Syncrowave DX 250, you can't get a better welder that this one.

I am going to build my brewing stand out of Aluminum 1 1/2 tubing. Should be light when it needs to be moved and not rust.
