I will try this again as I don't see it. Hand pump cask Real Ales just like in England will be poured June 13-14.

You will never have more fun making anything at home more than Beer. Except kids, maybe.

I'd like to go. Who wants to carpool?

Since I offered to carpool for next Tuesday I would like to pool down with you for this Mike. That might be a good time to check out the house for the BBQ.

I had a good idea talking to my daughter about this. Since it is a few blocks from the beach. I will be taking the kids down. My daughter drives. Drop me off. They go to the beach. Pick me up after. If you want to work fun time for the kids and beer drinking in together it can't be any easier.

OK, got permission to go this weekend. The boy will be with his dad, and Amy doesn't want to go. I have a lot to do so I am only going to be able to go for a few hours.

Got a reply on the B3 forum that this fest is going to be like many with small 4 oz tastings. So thats 32 oz for $25. Is it just me or is that really expensive?

I would say yes that is expensive. However, They have a few things that need to be considered. The engines that you need to pump with are not very common here and run about $800 each. Even renting them can be pricey. No other fest that I have heard of locally does Real Ale. The added cost is for the uniqueness of it all. Also, if they are using beer engines then it will be difficult to get only 4oz. 1 pull is 1/2 pint so I would gather that the portions will tend to be generous. I am only guessing though.
