Some Homebrew History
I was speaking with Gary at the last meeting and mentioned that I had some recipes from one of the early Southern California Homebrew Festivals. I was just looking through my stuff and found more than I expected. I have 2 original programs from 1994, 2 ticket stubs from that same year. Also, I found some of the recipes that some of the clubs gave out at their booths. I think I remember the Gold Rush Lager as being pretty good, but maybe it was another; sheesh, it was all so good as I remember. I just can't believe that I still have this stuff, and that it made it home with me as well! Anyway, Bob may remember some of this too. I scanned everything from 1994 festival into PDF. Check it out, have a homebrew, don't worry!
I wish I had pictures too, but I didn't even think to take a camera with me back then. The whole thing was so new at the time...S Cal Homebrew Festival, that is.
Enjoy, Shaun
P.S. if the file is not attached, it's because it was larger than allowed by TVEA law. Let me know how to attach it.
I think I have the file size reduced enough to upload now. Here ya'll go.
