Homebrewers and the Lovers of Great Beer!!

WOW!!.. WHERE DID THE YEAR GO!!!... I can't believe it, It’s that time of year again with the Southern California Homebrewers Festival a little over 6 weeks away and I hope all of you are planning to attend. I hope all of you have your campsite and/or room reserved, CHA Membership (tickets) and your beer kegged and/or bottled!!!

THE BEER GODS ARE SMILING!

For those of you planning to camp out or hotel-it Friday and Saturday night (highly recommended) we will be having our........

**16th ANNUAL FRIDAY NIGHT HOMEBREWERS POTLUCK!!! (May 1st)**

This is my official kick off e-mail to get everyone thinking seriously about the Fest and the Potluck, which is coming up fast!!. As usual with the Potluck there's no theme, since everything goes with BEER!!! Just bring what ever you make the best, preferably home made and not store bought. If you can homebrew, you can cook........ well maybe???........ Well....... if you can't cook, have someone cook for you or, only as a last resort buy something, just do your best and no worries, it will be GREAT!!........the important thing is to be there with Great Friends, Great Beer, Great Food, Great Beer, Great Location and did I mention GREAT BEER!!!!

As we all know, the Fest is now held at Lake Casitas just outside of Ojai, for more info on membership, camping, ect. go to www.calhomebrewers.org and www.lakecasitas.info

The potluck location this year will hopefully be the same location as last year in campground B, which I think worked out GREAT!.

Each week or so I will send out updates with the menu to date, Hopefully this will help some of you decide on what to bring. When you finally do decide, please reply to one of my e-mails with your food item and camp site number (unless it’s a deep dark secrete) and I will add you to the list.

Since my e-mail list is far from complete, please forward this e-mail to everyone you know who is planning on attending and interested in this years FRIDAY NIGHT HOMEBREWERS POTLUCK. The more the merrier!!!!!
