Just an idea from the proprietor of the establishment where our meetings are held.  Would there be any advantage (or interest) in starting the meetings at 6:00 pm, instead of 7:00pm?  My question is purely personal and self serving.  I close the shop at 6 pm and then have a "dead" hour before the meeting starts.
An advantage to starting earlier, is that we can all get home before 10 o'clock.  A disadvantage might be that some members might have a hardship getting here before 7 pm because of work.
As for me, I have no problem with leaving the time alone or changing it.  But now let's hear from some more members with your ideas.  We can also split the differance and start at 6:30 pm.  That might help if we are always going to have a pot luck dinner before the meeting.  Now let's hear from you.

Yea we had talked about this before and though about making it social hour from 6-7 where we just get together talk eat and drink beer, then club buisness starts at 7.  I will talk it over with the other officers to see what they think.

I like the happy hour idea.  There are a number of us that have trouble getting there before 7.

I am Ok with a 6-7 Happy Hour.

But I would have trouble making for a 6 PM meeting. Sometimes I barely make the 7 PM meeting.

Please keep it at 7.

The San Diego commute is a killer.  Six would be near impossible for anyone working down south, who couldn't get off early for the meeting.

Yea at the bare minimum if we started the happy hour at 6pm it would give Jim someone to talk to for that extra hour =)
